I would say things are looking up. I had an interview at Kacies Roadhouse in Broadview today, it went well and I pretty much have the job. I am just waiting for my interview in Indian Head at the daycare on Tuesday, before I make any decisions. The daycare is somewhere that I would actually want to work at, and the boss at Kacies knows that so she is alright with waiting for me to make my decision. It's nice when people would rather you make up your mind and do the thing that you want to do rather than pushing you to work for them.
I opened the youth center, for the first time this summer, last night. It went very well. I had a fun airhocky game with one of the youth (hoping to start up an airhockey tournament sometime). We tried different things to make it a little more interesting, like putting one hand behind our back, using our left hand, and playing the game blind-folded. I must say, playing airhockey blind-folded is not easy! But thankfully we had a girl help by telling us where the puc was at all times. It was a very fun evening, and I can't wait for more opportunities! I really want to see that place up and running all the time, I know God has some great plans for it, and for all the youth that attend!
